The Heard Museum has reopened to the public.
In the midst of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the museum has implemented additional precautions amid the pandemic, including requiring employees and guests to wear masks, limiting the number of people inside the museum at a time, and creating one-way pathways through the museum's galleries.

We are looking forward to welcoming visitors back to the Heard Museum and are taking numerous precautions to create a clean, comfortable and enjoyable visit. Whether you are returning, or new to the museum, we are working to ensure not only a world-class experience but a safe one, too.
In line with CDC and Arizona State Department of Health Guidelines the Heard Museum outlines changes to our procedures, policies, operations and how you can help.
New rules include the following:
- Masks or face coverings are required for both employees and guests (a free mask and gloves are available, if requested)
- Attendance will be limited to 100 people per hour and a max capacity of 240 people
- Indoor docent-led tours have been suspended
- One-way direction signs have been installed throughout indoor galleries
- Groups should follow social distancing and keep themselves separated from other parties
- Some interactive and smaller galleries have been temporarily closed (the museum did not specify)
- All programs, such as yoga and the museum's film series, have been suspended until further notice
- Increased hourly sanitization for public areas and surfaces; added 20 hand sanitization stations throughout the museum
