According to Delish,

So far, more than 4,500 pounds of carrots and sweet potatoes have been dropped across six different colonies in the Capertee and Wolgan valleys, their site confirms.

According to ABC, wallabies often survive fires like these, but they struggle to survive in the scorched aftermath. I'm so happy they're doing this for these animals!
