A dad in Washington is being praised for the unique invention he came up with after the doctor told him his baby needed more nutrition.
Rudy Willingham, from Washington state, posted a video of his creation on social media and it’s since gone viral. In the clip he can be seen feeding his daughter Lily using a beer bong equipped with a bottle nipple at the end. He got the idea after his daughter’s recent weigh in, where she wound up in only the 2ndpercentile.
“I made the baby bong at our condo last week,” Rudy told Jam Press. “It was pretty simple to construct, I just bought the smallest beer bong Amazon had for sale and then attached a bottle nipple to the end.” He adds, “I was pretty lucky because it was a perfect fit with the end of the bong, almost like they were always meant to be together!”
As for why he chose a beer bong, he notes, “I thought, what are some of the ways I’ve gained weight successfully? With a beer bong, in college,” adding, “I put on a solid 25 pounds that way, so it’s gotta work for her too, right?”
- And apparently folks on social media approve, with the post being viewed nine million times, and folks showering the dad with praise.
- “Parenting done so damn right,” wrote one person, while another added, “She’s getting the best training imaginable."
