Foo Fighterswere supposed to celebrate their 25th anniversary on the road for theirvan tourlast year. That didn't end up happening, but the set back didn't stop the band from celebrating the hell out of the milestone. Last year, theypublished an online zinecalledThe People of Rock and Roll,where fans can submit their favorite Foo memories; launchedcommemorative merch capsules, and released a documentary calledTimes Like Those, and even though 2020's overDave Grohland company are far from done partying.
On Tuesday (January 12), the band revealed it was releasing custom 25th Anniversary Vans. The limited edition kicks are a stylized version of Vans' classic black Sk8-Hi. Foo Fighters' iconic logo is printed in white on the side of each high-top shoe, with the band name stitched in red on each heel ("Foo" on the left and "Fighters" on the right).
Though not yet on sale, Vans promises the "Foo Fighters Sk8-Hi is coming soon." See the announcement below.
