Billy Joel was supposed to kick off his 2025 tour in just a few days, but on Tuesday (March 11) the Piano Man announced that the trek would be postponed four months "due to a medical condition."
The statement doesn't disclose what specifically is ailing Joel but explains that he has "to recover from recent surgery and undergo physical therapy under the supervision of his doctors."
"Joel is expected to make a full recovery," his team assured fans.
The musician also shared his own message, writing: "While I regret postponing any shows, my health must come first. I look forward to getting back on stage and sharing the joy of live music with our amazing fans. Thank you for your understanding."
