What Are Chris Cornell's Social Handles Teasing?

Chris Cornell's estate is up to something.

On Wednesday (September 12), the profile and cover photos on the late rockstar's Facebook and Twitter pages changed to display a colorful illustration of Cornell's face, and his signature alongside the hashtag #WHENBADDOESGOOD and the date September 21st, respectively. So what doe it mean? A new song? A new album? A film? A book?

A previously unreleased song would make the most sense. The grunge rocker was working on a covers album at the time of his death and had been working on demos for a new Soundgarden album. As Alternative Nation reported earlier this week, Amazon has a Chris Cornell listing for a self-titled, four disc set with a release date of November 16, 2018. The album art happens to be the same image that's now the profile picture across his socials. Could "When Bad Does Good" be the first offering from that collection?

We'll have to wait until September 21 to know for sure, but chances are good that we'll be hearing some previously unreleased material from the rock legend in the weeks and months to come.

Aside from potential new music, a bronze statue of Cornell is being erected outside the Seattle Museum of Pop Culture and is slated to be unveiled on October 7 at 5:30 PM. It will be free to the public.
