Florida resident Patrick Snay was going to earn $80,000  - until his daughter made an unfortunate post on her Facebook.

While in the middle of settling an age-discrimination lawsuit, Snay signed a standard confidentiality clause that wouldn't allow for him to talk about the case.

Before he was about to close the deal and win the money, his daughter spoke too soon - she bragged to her 1,200 Facebook friends with a status and the post made it back to the lawyers.

Since  this was in direct violation of the agreement, the case was dropped and Snay lost the settlement.

We'll tell you one thing - when $80K is on the line, our lips are SEALED.
