(Colton Gavin, Cronkite News Service) Arizona again had the second-most solar-industry jobs in the nation last year, even though the state lost more than 1,200 solar jobs as the industry in the rest of the nation grew at a record pace.

Those were the findings of a report by the Solar Foundation, which blamed Arizona's losses to the completion of the massive Solana plant and to policy uncertainty that may have slowed business.

Solar businesses in the state expect a 5.6 percent increase in hiring this year, compared to a national increase projected at 15 percent.
